Dollar Tree

It is what it is: A store where everything is $1 (with some items even being sold for less than that price, too). It's not bad if you know exactly what you need. Most of the time it's fairly low-grade imported stuff. For example I was hoping for better latex gloves there in my small size. No dice.

And some latex gloves that they have advertised as latex aren't latex at all! Specifically the bags with the white lettering on the blue background. They're actually nitrile, a very low-grade formulation. I know this because I do enjoy, know and love my rubbery gear. And I know what latex is. And that ain't latex.

I did find some great deals on some plastic storage boxes and utility knives. Heck, they even have Christian KJV bibles for sale there, full and uncut with all the hate-filled brutality intact, yes for $1! Need some bookbags or anything else in the way of quick and easy yet inexpensive storage? Or even crayons or pencils? $1!

I do give 'em props when they do have some new items out. I found some yummy chipotle salsa there for $1 per jar. Mmmmmm...yummy mesquite smoked jalapeños!

So check 'em out. The Dollar Tree stores aren't all the same, though. The selection of stuff varies from store to store. For example the Lower Burrell, PA Dollar Tree has backpack-style bookbags while the Natrona Heights, PA location doesn't. I'll review the Lower Burrell, PA location later.
