Hello and thank you for taking time to read my review. I live and the city of Magnolia and I was very excited when I heard that we were getting a new home made burger place in town last year around the first of the year. Needless to say in a small town your always looking for somthing new. At first when you enter the restaurant you will notice that their is a fresh meat case with balls of fresh meat in it and also fish now. Which they advertise the "worlds freshest burgers" on their sign. Which for a brief time they were. Last two times me and my family of 5 went in nothing we got tasted fresh as advertised. Yes thats right and we had everything on the menu just about you know a family of mostly boys can eat just about anything. This is not the only time I have had problems either another was in the summer of last year when they opened the drive up window but that was easily taken care of by there young manager. So knowing that I desided to talk with him about this knowing he would do the right thing but they referred me to the owner a guy by the name of Robert Smith. Mr.Smith which I had earlier seen yelling at a worker of his. Mr.Smith wasnt much help though and after a short conversation with him I admitted to him that I would never be back. The Prices are also very expensive $ 5.00 for a burger with no cheese. #1 combo is $7.15 this is burger fries and drink. One positive thing is fries are good hand cut. So to put a end to my rant on this dump just go next door and try the old feed house they are an all you can eat SEAFOOD delight.
I was a bit apprehensive about going here without many reviews but was rewarded for the trip. The interior is a bit simple - diner style chairs and tables with several pieces of ocean themed decorations. I believe it is an old Pizza Hut building. The menu is seafood and burgers. One menu of catfish, boiled shrimp and oysters, one menu of burgers, fries and wings. I had the 2/3 lb burger. They advertise it as the "World's Freshest Hamburgers". After my first bite, I was impressed and thought it tasted fresh. After a few more bites, I began to suspect that the burger was deep fried since the outside was crispy and inside juicy and fully cooked. If it was seared to make the outside crisp, the insides probably would have been pink but were not. Nonetheless, it was pretty good. My colleague had the catfish and oysters. He was pretty pleased as well.
If you're looking for a simple restaurant with good food and fair prices, I think you'll be pleased. Not for the salad crowd though.
Absolutely the BEST Food! I don't think that they know how to cook anything but good food. The shrimp are HUGE! Don't even think of stopping at any other "burger joint" within 100 miles.
