went there a couple of weeks ago and had the worst fish and chips ever!...burnt and greasy! We had tried it as Mike's and had another awful experience...hockey puck hamburgers,...I had hoped with the name change the food would have improved...no luck

I love hurricane hanks. My daughter is 2 and she is very picky about her food but she absolutely loves the fried green beans! She ate hers mine and her step dads. The service was great, the chef was awesome, and everyone I met there had a killer attitude. I have ate at alot of restaurants, but my husband and I come there every time we come to FL. Evidently those that have bad reviews have no clue what they are talking about. We had super service, awesome food, and it was priced very reasonably. If you ask me, yeah anyone I know Im inviting them there because it just is that good!

Went on Memorial Day May 25, 2009. Enjoyed the food! My husband had the best fried fish dinner he has had in a long time. Ther hush puuppies are sooo delicious! I had their signature salad and thought it was GREAT. The service was a bit slow, but the food was so good my husband wants to go back for Father's day. Don't know why other people's visits weren't happy, but OUR lunch time visit was nice. And if you sit facing the "swamp" as it was called, it is like looking out over Old Florida. You don't need to see a beach with bikini clad girls to have a good view in Florida.
