User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been in Passage to India a couple of times already.First of all i liked a cozy environment of the restaurent its really nice. The food was amazing, the service was excelent. The waiter staff was very nice as well as a chef of the restaurent who suggest me to try Veggie Bryane, a veggie samosa and a palak nan and it was the best food i have ever tried. I live in Boston and ive been here in a couple of the indian places but they cant be even compare with Passage to India from Portland ME. I reccommand to vitit Passate to India and check their food out you are not going to be dissapointed cuz its the best food ever!!

Awesome food!! I recommend you to try their food if you would like to try Indian food. I wil rate their food A++.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was there this past Friday. This certainly was one of the best Indian Restaurants Iâve been to. I live in Boston and Iâve been to quite a few Indian restaurants there. None compare to "Passage to India"
The food was amazing. I didn't know what to get so I asked for chef's recommendation.
I was surprised that Portland is able to attract such an authentic Indian restaurant.
I love the small bar area which has the view of the beautiful wharf street. It was Friday night. There was a lot of traffic of young people all dressed for party. I had two mango martinis. They were the best!!
Given the price and service, I give this place a perfect 5.
