To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to tell you about mine and my sister's experience with AT&T and Scott Christensen.
It was Feb 16, 2008, last Saturday, and my sister, Faye and I were on a mission to get our phone service changed to two (2) separate plans AND I had to have a new phone.
Faye and I stopped in at AT&T on Hwy 92 in Auburndale, Fl. We were greeted as usual, and Scott motioned for us to come have a seat. We started telling Scott that she and I shared the family plan, but we needed a different plan because this one wasn't working for us financially. We were WAY over in minutes and had paid a couple of outrageous phone bills and we just knew there had to be a better way to stay in touch with each other for safety reasons.
After we told Scott what we wanted, away he went. He took the reigns. He made suggestion after suggestion, going into detail telling us about different plans for each of us, and she and I walked in there pretty confident that we wanted two (2) separate plans and not the family plan anymore. Then Scott showed us the family plans with more than 700 minutes. He hit the nail on the head. We mulled over all of the different family plans and limits for a few minutes and made our choice, 2100 minutes with unlimited text. We were totally satisfied.
Then I told Scott I needed a new phone. He took my phone and mentioned that it was ancient, and it was. Three and a half (3 1/2) years old is ancient in the telecommunications world. Anyway, he went to the display shelves and came back with 5 or 6 phones for us to look at. He explained each one of them to us and their capabilities and he let us hold and look at each one of them also. He was extremely informative and knowledgeable. I have never been to a phone store where the technicians or sales people were so nice, so informative and definitely not as knowledgeable with ALL of the different brands of phones as Scott seemed to be.
Most of the time, the Sales people in a phone store tell you things they may know because of their own phone experience and not what has been taught to them by the phone company. Well Scott wasn't one of them and he didn't mind for one second, taking time to explain things to a couple of old women that weren't up on today's technology.
I commend AT&T for there choice of associates. Scott Christensen is, and has got to be the pick of the litter. I will not and have not hesitated to tell all my friends about the wonderful service Faye and I received at the AT&T Store by a young man named Scott Christensen. Two thumbs up Scott...(plus some)! and keep up the awesome job!!!
