I have dealt with Sabastian's for the past several years and I have always been satisifed. He has made my daughter several custom gowns, one of which sold for $1400.00 on the internet and he made the exact same dress for much less and we received awsome comments on the dress. I'm one that does not like to do last minute things but Sabby always pulls thru with time to spare. Would not go to anyone else!!!
First off I would just like to say that Sabatian is an extremely talented man as well as a pleasure to work with. I went to him by referral from my good friend Cher and I would recommend anyone and everyone seeking a gown, tux, bathing suit, ANYTHING that can be sewn, to him. Sabastian met all my expectations and exceeded most of them. He created the most beautiful bridesmaids dresses, flower girls dress, vests and ties for all my groomsman and the most beautiful wedding gown for me. He can make your visions of the "perfect" picture come true. I know he made mine come true and I can't thank him enough for all he did.
The tuxedos were handsome, in on time and all of the dresses he made were finished for my event. He not only made 9 dresses, he also made my garter, a cinch handbag, ring bearer pillow AND 8 vests and 10 ties because the tuxedo company screwed up our order. Sabastian busted his butt to get them done on time and while they were done the day before the wedding I was perfectly at ease knowing that him and his lovely ladies we're behind the needles sewing camouflage perfection out of a piece of fabric!
Sabastian tries his hardest to please everyone and although sometimes people write reviews to contradict that, I the Bride (and a very stressed out one at that) never had my confidence in Sabastian waver and will continue to be a client of his for as long as I live.

My wedding was October 9th and my wife went to Sabastian's in May and placed her order for her custom dress, bridesmaid dresses, and tuxes. She went by every month asking when he would start herdress, and every month she was told the following month. We also got several phone calls regarding our tux order that they could not keep straight! Our bridesmaids dresses were supposed to be cinnamon, instead he bought a peachy color fabric. Finally, two weeks before our wedding she told him that the fact that he hadn't even started her wedding gown was not acceptable, and he basically told herto get over it that he was busy. She finally ended up having to go wedding dress shopping a week before our wedding! On top of all of this he wrote her a check for her wedding dress deposit, and when she tried to cash it he had canceled it. If you want to be treated decently, and you want to have your wedding gown more than a week before your wedding, then you do not want to shop here.

My experience with your business has been beyond unsatisfactory. I've given your staff the colors for vests, the tuxedo styles, and the colors for my bridesmaid dresses several times, and yet I still get phone calls asking what my colors are or what style I've picked out. I've also reminded you and your staff that two weeks prior to my wedding on October 9th I would be out of town for work, your response was always that you'd give me a call when my wedding dress was ready for me to try on. It's now less than two weeks before my wedding and I'm leaving today at 6 p.m. to go out of town and I have yet to hear from you or see my dress. Put yourself in my shoes, it's 12 days before your wedding and you haven't seen your dress, you have no clue as to whether or not you're even going to like it when you put it on, and the person making your dress and your bridesmaid dresses hasn't even started them. Since you've waited so long to even start my dress, the only days I have available for a fitting are today and this Friday after 6 p.m.. If I don't hear from you and my dress isn't completely finished this week I will be sure that all of my friends, family, co-workers, and possibly even the Newton Observer (where I used to work) know what an awful experience it has been working with your business and how no bride should have to be worrying about whether or not her dress will be finished and whether or not she'll even like it two weeks before her wedding. This is the email that i received from Tiffany two weeks before her wedding. When tiffany placed her order with us she was told by Myself and my staff (Angala) that OCtober was a full month and that we would get to her if she decided to go with our store. I completed 13 custom weddings for the month of Oct and every bride was 100% satisfied with my work. Just a few of them, Nicole(wachovia bank) Tabatha (returning client).
Lets get to some facts. I had two meetings with Tiffany the prior week to let her know what was going on and to Have her approve her fabric which i had purchased already. I spent Over 300.00 on her fabrics and she had only paid half of that down on her order. When she came in she was told we were running close to wedding dates but would have her order filled with her being 100% satisfied when i was complete. She says i ordered the wrong fabric. Bull..she came by here and loved her fabric and said how beautiful it was and That conversation was witnessed by Sherrie (another employee). She was the one coming by to change her colors for her tuxedos Not my store. She had changed her color twice and we Knew what color she had ordered. Employee (melissa) called her to make sure she knew it was coming time to order tuxedos and Not all of her Guys had come to put down the downpayment to order tuxedos. It was about color. In good faith we went ahe4ad and ordered her tuxedos. Lets get to this email....
Wouldnt you find this offensive. Basically it says if you dont do what i tell you to do ill slander you to the community and the paper where i use to work. I found this email offensive. I had no idea she was going out of town she told Angala(customer service) not me the designer of her dresses. I had no idea and she never told me the 2 times she had been in the week before. When i found out i told her i would have her dress finished by Friday which she specified and would coplete her order as i promised. She would never responde back to me. I called her twice and had angala call her and she would never give us an answer. I did finish her dress and it was georgous just like i promised and was featured in our bridal expo.. I have pictures of it if anyone wants to see. this gown retailed for over 1000.00 online and i was to make it for her for a little over 300.00. Her aunt came in and wanted her deposit back and our policy clearly states if you cancel your wedding your deposit is not refundable as it is in all wedding stores or vendors. I still wrote a check back for her deposit and tried to make amense with her aunt. The next two days clients came in and told us that tiffany had called them and told them Not to use us in order to teach us a lesson and those people came in thereselves and told me what she said. That is when i put the stop payment on the check. You cannot still slander a business for being unhappy when they have done everything possible to make you happy.
We still ordered her tux's they came in and every single one of them were perfect no issues at all and they were picked up by the family and worn. In closing, Custom design is a fast paced business. I book up a year in advance and we save people a ton of money. I do this job cause i Love it and not because i want to get rich. Every single ordered that i have completed and fillerd for my clients have produced happy clients and I have never missed a deadline for a wedding. October was nuts and they were running to the week of the wedding dates but every single order was filled and completed. My brides were patient and very understanding and in return we made sure there day was the happiest it could be. Im sorry tiffany that you are upset and i do put myself in your shoes and i do care but put yourself in my shoes. I have to pay the bills so i have to take many weddings not just one if you would have called me and told me the issues we could have fixed them and your wedding would have went off as planned. Aweful experience, we worked with you time after time and let you knwo what was going on through every step of the way. When you sent this email it floorred me and I had no idea you felt this way. Why couldnt you have told me this when you were here the few days before. This could have all been cleared up. I did what you asked and i did call you to talk about this but instead you never returned any of our calls.
