To begin, the staff was warm and welcoming. They made sure my questions were answered and educated me on what to expect with the visit. When Dr. Karam came into the room, he immediately made me feel at ease. We discussed the future procedure. At this specific visit I had Botox. His technique was virtually painless. I travelled all the way from Portland, Oregon to see Dr. Karam; the distance was worth it for his expertise and his wonderful staff! I honestly would like to share with everyone who read my review about my experience with my eyelift "BLEPHAROPLASTY " surgery with Dr. AMIR KARAM. I highly recommend DR. AMIR KARAM to anyone who is considering plastic surgery especially the - FACE. I had researched and consulted with five plastic surgeons in San diego for blepharoplasty and I found Dr. Amir Karam the best surgeon to do my upper and lower eyelid surgery. He explained to me what needs to be done, and rightway I trusted Dr. Karam that my expectations will be achieved. I showed Dr. Karam my photos when I was 30 years old, my eyes looked brilliant, tantalizing and beautiful. I am now 60 years old and everytime I looked at myself in the mirror with my droopy eyelids and dark eyebags it made me depressed. I looked tired and haggard all the time. I had my blepharoplasty (upper and lower) with Dr. Amir Karam on May 5, 2011. Three weeks after my eye surgery with Dr. Karam, my eyes looked brilliant, tantalizing and beautiful again like when I was in my 30's!!! Dr. Karam can turn back the time, I am very happy with the result of my blepharoplasty!! I feel young again!! I will go back for a midlift and fat transfer! My face is so natural looking that friends and family can't quite put their finger on what has changed about me. They just say that I look fantastic! The procedure was amazingly easy, and recovery was fast. I'm so happy with may face. Now my husband says to me all the time "you look beautiful" not just you look pretty or nice. If you asked me "would you do again knowing what you know now and have experienced?". I would tell you HANDS DOWN!, no question in my mind. Dr. Karam and his staff are kind, caring, knowledgeable, and very approachable. I highly recommend a consultation. I believe you will truly feel comfortable, and confident that Dr. Karam is the right Specialist for you.
