Drove by there and smelled BBQ, The place is open again. We hit them up last night and the bar was great, added a pool table and more TV, NFL Ticket, Monday night looks like fun.
Had the Ribs, 1/2 rack, very good. The service was a little slow but they were busy.
Nice looking Waitresses...
Overall, I could enjoy the bar for a few hours and would go back again for a couple of rounds of pool. Dart board would be great!!!!
Maybe Dingus Magees is moving in? Hope it is soon.
I would like to say thank you to the folks at Oakfire Grill. We had them cater our fathers 80th B-Day for 150+ people. They brought the BBQ, all the food and everything was as they make it in the restaurant. We love the cavemen and the beans. The pulled pork was a winner!! We have been fans of Oakfire from when they owned, what? 8 months now. We have watched them grow and open the bar, catering and now have been to our home. We really like the menu items, the diverse foods from BBQ to veggie wraps. The New York style pizza is one of the best I've had!!! i would recommend the Chicken Pesto Pizza, great idea and not really BBQ, but a have to try! Anyway, thanks again and god bless...

Not sure what dirt tastes like, if dirt tastes as good as the oakfire cavemen, I'm in. That is the best I've had. I thought Oakfire was closed on Mondays? How could Maggots get into the restaurant. Sounds like bull to me...
We found the pork to be very good each time we had it. They have a new item, its not on the menu and it's one of the servers idea and they make it if you ask for it. It's called the roxy or rocky. Anyway, our son ordered it and it was just great. It has pulled pork, fried onion strings and BBQ sauce pilled high on a bun. It had great flavor and I would recommend trying it. The pork has not been dry when we have ordered it. It is always so taste and tender. You sould bring it back to show them, maybe there is a differant one for to go ordered or maybe it is held in a hot pan or something. I know that when I fill out a comment card thay always follow up on it with a call if you leave your number. We suggested the tables were to small and they said they are going to change them to larger ones. They do listen. I do not kow if thay read this site, but you should go in and talk to them if you are really wanting to voice your thoughts or show them your problem. My understanding is that the owners are there on Thursday and Friday only and at their other restaurant the rest of the time so maybe a call my work better.
Of course they are closed. I am pretty sure it was the unpermitted kitchen grill catching on fire and then the non existent fire suppression system that is the reason for the closure. I am sure the owner is suing everyone and anyone that ever stepped into the restaurant for the fire. After all he would not want to take responsibility for his own failure. I know of at least 5 employees that have had lawsuites against the owners in the last 9 months. you know "where there is smoke there is fire." yeah pun intended. They have made life very difficult for all their employees over the last year and the word "karma" comes to mind. Owners throwing food at cooks and screaming at their employees is not ok. Dogs in the unpermitted office crapping on the floor and threatening employees that complain is also not cool.
