Tabla Bar & Grill has delicious and unique Indian dishes, lots of variety, really nice presentation, and excellent service. I have been to many Indian restaurants in Miami, New York, San Francisco, and even India, and Tabla takes the cake. Save room for dessert, we had the toffee cake with ice cream and caramel sauce and it was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough. I want to go back next time I'm in Orlando and try new dishes, they haven't disappointed me yet! Not to mention their prices are reasonable and their location is so convenient, right across from Universal Studios. Don't miss it!
I visited Tabla a few months ago when in Orlando for a conference, and was very happy with the food. This was probably the best Indian food I've had in the U.S. The food was very well cooked - not too oily or spicy, and the service was great too. A very nice place - hidden off the main road, but definitely worth a visit.
My friend and I like to go around town and try out new Indian restaurants. We heard about Tabla when we searched online and thought the Chocolate samosa was interesting and so we ventured over to Tabla Bar and Grill. The first time we had their lunch buffet and the second time we went for dinner. The lunch buffet was good and so was the price. The second time we ordered the Chicken Korma and Paneer Makhani with butter naan. The food was delicious. NOW the most important part, the dessert! On the first occasion we ordered the chocolate samosa and it was awesome. We both love chocolate and samosas but don't worry it is not a combination of the two. It is a samosa wrapping filled with chocolate and coconut that is deep fried and served with vanilla ice cream. Yummy Yummy. However there is another dessert that was just as good or even better the toffee pudding! WE Loved it.. enough said! So the next time you're hankering for some good Indian food and special desserts head over to Tabla Bar and Grill!
