A Fernley local recommended Louie's China Bistro. Located in an architecturally pleasing shopping center in the middle of Nouveau Fernley (Off I-80, catty-corner to Walmart, the casino and the gas station).

Louie is a gracious host who's built a gracious, artful restaurant. A diverse menu with many items cooked well with color, texture and taste.

Our table for three had Kung-Pao shrimp, Pineapple sweet and sour duck and brocolli pork. The pictures tell the story. I forgot to take a picture before we dove in and enjoyed an excellent meal.

Louie came by for a visit and we had a very educational conversation about Chinese restaurants, the hospitality/food industry in general. This man and his family have a passion for what they do. It shows here in Fernley at Louie's China Bistro.

Would I bring my sweetie here for a romantic meal? Yes. Will I return? Yes. Should you try it and see for yourself? By all means.

Great Service, Good Food. Pleasant clean atmosphere.

The service was extraordinary and the food was served fresh and hot. The menu items available are very complete and the lunch menu is more than adequate. Prices are moderate.

The staff is extremely friendly and cheerful.

This is a good choice for either a couple or a family and it is easy to find. Take Exit 48 from I-80 and go south about 1/2 mile to the Scolari's Shopping Center.

You will be glad you went there. We definitely will be back again!
