Slowly you start to see the new way your dog looks at you and respects you and your commands. The cost is worth a perfect dog and lifetime (of the dog) follow ups. My 14-pound angel was the perfect dog in every way...until I'd click the leash onto his collar and then he turned into Cujo. His leash aggression was impossible to manage and also embarrassing during neighborhood walks. Lynne taught me how to alter the dynamics within our relationship so that when my guy is on the leash he will mind his manners and look to me for reinforcement. Lynne is extremely knowledgable, but she's also very patient, kind and gentle...traits that go a long way in training both the dog and the human!
