Slanted Porch

My Brother & Sister in Law were the last ones to live in that old house before it was restored. Although it was a dog on the outside, the inside was fantastic. All wood, and original fixtures and cabinets. It did need a lot of work, but I have always thought that it should have been restored as a house, not a resturaunt. BUT, we are taking my wifes parents there for dinner this very night. When we moved, it was just stting empty, and I have not seen it since, so it will be very interesting. I will post again, post Slanted Porch. For now, I'll just call it , average, for unknown but hopeful!

The food is very good and the prices are in line with the quality and quantity. I found the service was a little slow, probably because it was very busy. But the noise level was terrible. It was difficult to carry on a conversation at our table. The owners need to do something to damping the noise – planters, small partitions, area rugs, something!

agree, the sandwiches are yummy! The service is great. However, when dining inside, it is difficult to carry on a conversation because of the acoustics in there. It is good that they are busy, but it is noisy! Dining outside is pleasant as the weather allows. It is a little bit higher priced, but let's face it, Fallon needs some classier places like this! I saw them working hard on restoring that house...it is beautiful now and brings some much needed asthetic appeal to the city of Fallon.
