    This place is great!!! Talk about feeling like you've taken a step back in history. Born in the late 50's, watching "Happy Days" was torture. I was born too late to enjoy the "malt shop & drive-ins". Rich Palmeri's place, is like being there back then. Nostaglia is all around and you can't help but feel all warm & fuzzy. Oh yeah....the menu items are "The Cat's Pajamas." Ya gotta see it to believe it! Go there NOW!!!

    New York Italian Ice King introduces the finest Homemade Italian Ice right here on the Broadwalk in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Our Italian Ice is produced in small batches enabling us to control each step of the process. When manufacturing in small batches versus mass produced, quality is our concern, not quantity.

    Each of our mouth-watering flavors bursts with freshness. With this in mind, our passion for inventing new flavors is never ending. Our imagination puts our Italian Ice & Cream Ices list at over 120 flavors, including a large line of sugar-free and no sugar added (low-carb) flavors. Seasonal favorites and customer requested flavors are also available.

    “People go absolutely bonkers,” said Palmeri. “They can’t believe someone is selling this here. Yesterday, a woman came in, she took care of her kids, she took care of her husband, she got something for herself and then she bought a quart of lemon water ice for her mother, she was so thrilled. It happens every day.”Sometimes business isn’t so great, but Palmeri says he picks up three or four new customers every day.“To me that’s a great day,” he said. “I guarantee once someone comes to the NY Italian Ice King they will keep coming back. It’s the most refreshing thing they ever tasted and it’s not expensive either. “This is the perfect item for this time of year,” said Palmeri, “and all year around in Florida, because it’s one of the most refreshing treats there is.


    “It’s a fun, happy place and everybody loves it,” he said. “I’m in a business dealing with people, where warmth and comfort make them come back again and again. It’s as if they’re in my house.”
