    The taste and narrow culinary tastes of Ankeny surprise me. The food is served luke warm, and it looks like dog food. The price is high for such poor presentation. The wait staff is young and do not especially know the business of Bar-
    B-Q. We have returned 2 times now and nothing has changed. YUCK!

    That place is awesome. You can smell the food before you walk in. And the meat is so tender it falls apart. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. If you like BBQ go here you will LOVE it.

    My wife and I, along with our friends, frequent this place. Good food, usually good service, but most of all, good prices. We order the 2-meat 2-side dinner. Also 2 very generous sized bottomless sodas. The assortment of BBQ sauces on the table are fantastic! We are plenty full for around $20 including tip!
