Smokin Joe's BBQ

After hearing about Smokin Joes BBQ for a year I decided to give it a try this afternoon and as a professional Chef I really hate giving poor reviews but in this case I can only say that I found the food to be average (sorry) I really expect more for what I heard the only impressive thing to me was the massive Smoker in the rear of the store. I had the pulled pork sandwich with Cole Slaw, I found the BBQ sauce tasted store bought and the Cole Slaw was drowing in Mayo, my french fries were also under cooked I did appreacitat the fact that they made their own.

We tried Smokin Joe's when it was first opening. We thought it was wonderful. The servings were huge. The sampler platter was enough for two.
We recently returned and were so dissapointed. The portions were half of what they used to be. Way over priced now. Also food wasn't fresh tasting.

I just won business of the day gift certificate from Katy 101.3 fm radio station here in Temecula Ca. I have been to the location once before and was very happy with what i have gotten. I hope that it hasn't change, But only for the better... I have a taste for Bbq......
