I totally agree with the previous review. We're getting married in August 2009, and although I have some great vendors, Emily surpasses them when it comes to communication & professionalism. If you email her a change or addition, she emails you back just to let you know she got the info. She said this from the beginning, and she keeps her word. I know we could have saved some extra money not hiring a calligrapher (we had about 200 on our list), but honestly, if you're spending time and $$ picking out the invitations you like, then slap your "just okay" handwriting on it, then what a waste. I want people to know they're attending a classy wedding and not just a party. When I sat down with Emily to look at the completed order, she had everything so organized. Labels like "A-L" and "M-Z" and letting me know it follows my list exactly. Then she pointed out some spelling errors and zip code mistakes that I made on my list, but she correct them. I never would have expected her to catch those, but she did and that was a huge plus!! Anyway, when I saw the names addressed so beautifully I couldn't believe it. Neither could my Mom. In fact, we sent her a thank you with a $50 tip because truthfully I don't think she charges enough for what she does. But then again, we used her because of her prices! Can't beat Emily! She's just terrific and not to mention, a very nice person. Thanks a bunch Emily! You'll be having more people come your way through us.

WOW! All I can say is Emily was by far my most favorite wedding vendor of all!! I had no idea where to begin with addressing my wedding invitations. I knew there was no way I would print lables or even attempt to write them myself. But, then again I never thought I'd hire a calligrapher because of the cost...well I was wrong because Emily fit right into our budget! She's just awesome!!! Not only in her work, but her personality--very down to earth & professional. I made a couple of zip code mistakes & she caught them before it was too late! I told her I'll tell everyone I know about Calligraphy by Emily, and that's part of this review. Get the word out...if you're planning a wedding...don't skimp on the special little details!
