The food was good. The prices excellent. Wait staff very, very nice. We had ribs Memphis style - but think I'll try one of the other styles next time. Meat fell off the bone, but dry rub was a little dry. Some sides were great (onion rings) and some were so-so (green beans and slaw). Husband loved the pie. Seating on wooden benches is a little hard (we saw one diner bring in his own cushion.) We couldn't find the address on their web site but found it with on-line maps. It's outside of town. No alchol served but that was good since we had hour and a half drive on winding roads to get home. A long way to go for diner, but I'd do it again. It will be interesting to see if Food Network chooses them for Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. They were taped, but they said only 20 percent make the cut.

As we've had some very unpleasant dining experiences locally,it took a while to give Boondocks a try.Wow! Have we been missing out!My husband had the hogzilla & I had The pulled pork sandwich our 1st time;we both had ribs the 2nd-and coconut shrimp-fabulous!The staff is professional,the seating is comfortable,the place is very clean,and we've never had a better dining experience in Morgan County.Try it you'll love it!
