We love Cold Nose as much as our 4 year-old lab. He's spent a few hours or even a few days at Cold Nose Lodge and he always enjoyes his visits. My favorite part about Cold Nose is that our furry family member is safe and happy while we are vactioning and we don't have to worry about him. While on vacation in June I was able to log into the Cold Nose website and see him playing will all his puppy friends. Raine (the owner) also posted pictures of Theo on Facebook and it was so nice to see him doing well and so happy. Don't hesitate at all about leaving your furry friends in the very capable hands of the Cold Nose staff....they will love on them as if they are their own.
My two dogs love to go to Cold Nose Lodge. It is the only place I have ever seen that I would consider boarding my dogs. The place the dogs sleep is cozy and not like a cage at all but rather a cozy room. They get to play all day with other dogs in day care and it is a treat rather than a trauma. The place is spotless and inviting and my dogs love day care and spending the night.
Rayne Reitnauer, the owner, was the only Day Care/Kennel owner to alert the press about Canine influenza. She was/is a Vet Tech and takes the dogs well being seriously. It is comforting to leave my dogs in the care of someone who not only loves animals but is knowledgeable about veterinary medicine and concientious to boot. Can't say enough kind words about Rayne and her facitiy.
