Rib City Grill

My girlfriends and I were in Glenwood this weekend and were surprised by the Strawberry Festival and some biking events which packed the town beyond the normal. While patiently waiting our 45 minutes to get into a steak house, I noticed this place on the other corner and wandered in. Promised a 15 minute wait, we happily changed courses and boy am I glad we did! The owner, Mike, kept us entertained with adult beverages and his dry sense of humor in the waiting area while our table was made ready. Once seated we order the delicious ooey-gooey french fry appetizer as well as the fried okra. Both were delicious. Four of us split two of the feast meals (meant for two people each) and even though we are big girls and hearty eaters - they were still plenty of left overs to take back to our hotels. The meats were tender (with or without their great sauces) and the sides delectable. Our fifth had a grilled chicken salad which was tasty with chicken that was juicy and delicious. The desserts did not disappoint either (I TOLD you we were big girls :) ). We ordered pies - Coconut Cream, Key Lime, Chocolate Cream and Pecan (served warm) which were all exquisite!

Wow, killer burgers. thats what i had. the buffalo style chicken tenders where even better. very generous portions. vegans should stay away, there head would explode. this place celebrates carnivors for sure. great prices, tasty food, quick service.
