User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have lived in AZ, CA, FL and now LA. Thai Basil is the best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The food is exceptional. You can tell the cook enjoys and takes pride in his food. Narumon (the hostess) is wonderful. She is friendly, joyful, knowledgeable. We use to travel to Lake Charles to get a good meal out; not anymore. Thai Basil beats everyone else, hands down.

GREAT AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD
This Thai restaurant really lives up to the "BEST THAI FOOD".
What a meal! I had, great presentation, reasonable price and romactic ambient. I recommend Thai Basil for any special accasion.
I will make Thai Basil my favorite dining place.
Recommended dishes;
FRIED RICE, BASIL CHICKEN, ROAST DUCK AND SEAFOOD CURRY.

Who are the owners?
Paul and his wife are the owners. He cooks, she's the hostess.I don't know her name. They are from Thailand but settled in San Fransisco before moving to here.
