I have been to several Chiropractors over the past 20 years and for the most part it has been helpful, until recently.

I saw Dr. Barnett the first time in 2004. Things weren't too bad at that time and his treatment worked.

Over this past year, I went to another group of Chiropractors that were located closer to where I reside now. They did do an x-ray of my lower spine and did confirm I had some arthritis but no more than usual for someone my age. I told them that something felt different in my lower spine but they continued to manipulate me the way they did in the previous visits.

I have learned from working in the medical profession that most patients know more about their bodies than what some doctors give them credit for. I have also learned that in order for patients to get the proper treatment, doctors need to listen to what patients are saying with their ears and not their mouths.

I went back to Dr.Robert Barnett yesterday. After he listened to me, and my description of symptoms I have been having, he honestly informed me of what my options are. He did not ignore anything I said. He made me aware of what he is capable of doing and also informed me of what he cannot do. Another words, he knows his limitations.

Some Chiropractors don't go the extra yard to make sure that the proper treatment is executed and I believe that may be the reason why some have a bad reputation.

I am confident that Dr.Robert Barnett will do everything he can to make sure I am going in the right direction.

For those of you who have considered a first time consult with a Chiropractor, I highly recommend Dr. Robert Barnett.
