I called for a Saturday night reservation on Thursday morning for 6 people only to be told they only had an 8:15 open. I took it. Arriving at 7:45 to sit and have drinks at the bar, the restaurant was virtually empty. We had our drinks and admired the atmosphere (very nicely done). Now to the meal. Best word to describe is eh,it was ok, not bad, not great, just take it or leave it, We all had different appetizers, different entrees and different desserts. Nothing was outstanding, nothing made us want to go back, even the service was mediocre.A few of the steaks werent cooked right, the sides were miniscule by steakhouse standards, and the prices high, This is no Ruth's Chris by any stretch.
Going back for sure. Apps were very well priced and very good - Calamari and a nice salad. The steaks a bit pricy I had the Delmonico cooked to perfection at $39 so it was worth every bite. They Kids are cheap under $10 so they and you can enjoy a nice dinning experience. Thye also have a $25 bottle wine list section that was good. All in all dinner for 2 adults , 1 teanager and one child with bottle of wine came to 150ish. Ruth Chris sorry you wont see me again this was actually much better in my opinion across the board.
Four of us tried this new restaurant on Saturday, March 15. The menu is pricey, with a lot of tempting choices. I went for the relatively inexpensive 8 oz. petite sirloin, while the other three had the petite filet mignon. Five different toppings are available for the steak entrees. The beef was cooked exactly as requested, and the quality was outstanding. My wife and I split the french onion soup, and the waiter served it in individual bowls. No passing back and forth here. The atmosphere is plush, the service was excellent, and the meals outstanding from start to finish. Also, there is live music in the lounge. On Saturday there was a jazz combo that was entertaining, but not intrusive on our conversation. I highly recommend this restaurant.
