User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have eaten at the Gumbo House quite a few times--and have yet to get anything that wasn't good. I especially like the blackened shrimp and blackened chicken, and the bread pudding is unbelievably good.

What a treat! The food is absolutely wonderful -- deliciously seasoned. The owners are a delight. This is a "go-back" restaurant. Real Cajun food is hard to find and Gumbo House is the real thing.

Me and my girlfriends from Ponder went on a Friday night. The food is great and so is the atmosphere! We had a blast, can't wait to go back!
