Impressive dining area, and good service but food wasn't all that great. The best part of the meal was the duck with orange, which was a tiny piece of duck wrapped around an orange segment and placed on sliced bread. The chicken and saffron soup was a huge disappointment. I've had better soup from a can! The shrimp with garlic was average. The paella was average. Omelette of the day was ok, but I'd not order it again since it had way too much potato. Desserts also left much to be desired. The berry bread pudding had no berries and was burnt. The churros con chocolate was not any better than taco bell's churros. And serving was very small for the price. (I realize it's a tapa, but still.)
Next time I'll spend my anniversary at another restaurant.
This was an excellent restaurant.
Was able to swing by with 9 friends one Friday evening. Finding parking was a problem, so get there early, or else youâll be parking in the back of the strip mall. I found the restaurant extremely cozy and intimate, and itâs definitely a great place to take a date. The food was fantastic, and not outrageously priced. If youâre looking to get Texas sized portions for under $10, this is not the place for you, however if youâre looking to get quality/tasty food, this is definitely the place for you. All of my friends who went that night were new to tapas restaurants and absolutely wanted to come back.
I recommend the fried goat cheese. Yum!
I am so excited to finally have a great restaurant nearby! Authentic SPANISH (from SPAIN) cuisine. We went to a very popular "Spanish" restaurant in Philadelphia...total disappointment and was expecting the same from this restaurant. It wasn't the case. Ole Tapas Lounge is absolutely wonderful. We go at least 3-4 times a week. I have family in Spain, so I know what the food is supposed to taste like, and Ole does a fantastic job. Definitely try the PAELLA, but make sure you bring your appetite or at least 3-4 people. If you aren't sure about the food, they have a happy hour from 4:30-6:30 M-F, 1/2 price tapas at the bar. The tapas aren't expensive to begin with, so you'll eat excellent food for almost nothing. They have a fantastic wine list. Spain is known for their wines, just not in this area. The service is great and so is the management! If you want terrific food in a warm environment, visit Ole. You won't be disappointed!
