Carvelli's Pizza & Pasta House

I went there at night, so I'm reviewing it as a club, not a restaurant. While there are people who would love this place, it was too glamorous for my taste. I was OK coming in wearing jeans and a basic dress shirt, but a lot of people were dressed to the nines. Most of the clientele are Eastern European, and/or speak a Slavic language. The "standard procedure", so to speak, is to stay with your own group, rather than interact with new people. I haven't tried their drinks, so I wouldn't know much about their service; the bouncers are fairly laid back, though. Still, it doesn't have that chilled-out, mellow resort atmosphere you'd expect from a small club in a town like Wisconsin Dells.

The food is fresh, they make pasta right in front of your eyes. They have great martinis.
One of the best menus ever seen with over 20 pizzas and over 30 pasta dishes.
We loved the ambiance and service was very good and helpful. Great place.

If you want authentic Italian food, eat at Carvelli's. They have a nice ambiance.
