It's hard to find a good Sushi place in this area. Sushi Train in Romeoville is good but Sushi Ya is excellent. Been ordering take out from there since it opened but recently had the pleasure of the all-u-can-eat day. WOW! Good price for such a great variety. All the sushi is very fresh. Will definitely be back often.
I lived in the city for years, but I got married and moved to Joliet. I counldn't find a sushi place until i found Sushi Ya. It can not be compared to Benihana's. The food is great and it's a great place to eat quietly. The whole point is to enjoy Japanese cuisine and great company. Take your husband or wife and enjoy the great food! I did and will be back soon.
This is a great place for sushi. I used to go to Edo when I had a craving, but never felt satisfied. But this place will leave you coming back for more - 2 or 3 times a week is no problem since their variety is outstanding and everything is totally fresh, all the time. They have an impressive kitchen menu as well and everything I've tried has been excellent.
