EXCELLENT BBQ!!! There is no other locally owned bbq restaurant in the tri-county area that serves smoked brisket like this. This is just like the brisket served in the mid-west-tender, smoky and moist. I smoke brisket at home and know the amount of work that goes into it. The pork tenderloin, chopped pork, smoked sausage and smoked chicken were all flavorful and tender. Sides were great. The only problem we had was that they charged us for a 2 year old and gave us very small plate for our child. Children's prices are priced on a scale. 2 yr old was 99 cents, but with a dinky plate.

This is the best of the best. I was introduced to Moose's through the excellent review it received from the Charleston City Paper and I was not disappointed. Everything about the food was stellar, I mean Brisket and Pork Tenderloin sliced to order for under 10 bucks, you've got to be kidding me. Seriously the kind of place I have dreamed about. I have been to Sweatman's in Holly Hill, and to JB's in John's Island, along with just about every other bbq place in the Charleston area and this is the best.
