These homes are beautiful. Very nicely decorated. Warm comfy chairs in front of rock fireplaces. Beautiful bedrooms impeccably decorated and nice modern kitchen with every amenity. We loved our stay in the snow with deer coming right up to the front yard. It was lovely for trail rides from the stables and I particualarly loved the libary with fireplace and leatherbound classics to read.I highly recommend this resort

Al,I am sure that you must have been on serious medication when you imagined this place as you described it to be. This place is like Amityville Horror meets The Shining, STAY AWAY. Al must be in Never Never land. Folks, don't go. You will not be happy AT ALL. Our kids had to wear protective wear outside at the so-called "park" It was so overgrown that we couldn't allow them to play outside. If you try to call someone at the office no one answers and you never get a return call back from these people. All they did was take our money and leave up empty handed and a bad taste in our mouth. There are many other places with REAL NICE HOMES to stay instead of this nightmare. BEST ADVICE.... Im on your side. Our Credit Card was put through some company that has nothing to do with the place. A little fishy. I agree, STAY AWAY from this place. We are disputing that now. No TV or internet and the houses around the place look abandoned. I don't think that deer run on pavement with broken glass around and cars everywhere no matter what mountain you are on. Good Luck people. Hope that you stay far far away for your own sake!

Stay as far away from this resort as possible!!!!! This place looked very good from outside but everything was wrong inside...we were 4 families with kids and the day we reached..the refrigerator wasn't working...we thought it was a small issue..then we realized the toilet in bathroom downstairs wasn't working...We kept calling maintainance(their main number)..but no answer...someone came in to check the refrigerator the night we reached but next morning a slew of other problems started..."There was no hot water" Can you believe it? We had 6 kids with us and we had to actually either not take a bath or warm water on the stove(out of 4 burners only 2 of them were working btw)...we called them 50 times during the whole day and left paper messages...there was some gas leak going on also which we reported as hazardous..so when we come back in the night...they completely switched off the heating in the house (instead of fixing it) in order to escape the hazard...can you believe it...we could not shower for 2 days...it was awwwwfull!!! Don't even think about going to this resort..u will end up spoiling u'r vacation!!!!

We wonder if you were staying in the same place we were. We had no problem with hot water at all, our house was turnkey at $2.5 million dollars and we figured they spent $300,000 on the interior. It was a stunning vacation. We really loved the kitchen with granite table tops and white birch chairs. We gave a formal dinner party and Whispering Hills even provided our own personal chef who cooked wonderfully with wine tasting four different wines. It was an amazing vacation with nice cross country skiing.
