User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSo, first of all. Let me say that I have been getting Brazilian Waxes for about a year now. After meeting Jules at Ahh Sugar Sugar I wished she had been my first and only. And now that I've found her, she'll be my forever!!
I live up near Washington D.C. and just happened to be in need of a Brazilian while passing through SC. After searching for an able skin care specialist, I found Jules's website. And I am soooo glad I did. After having used hot wax, dealing with the inconsistencies and pitfalls often associated with waxing, and getting frustrated at the thought of even booking another appointment, it seemed all my prayers had been answered when I found Jules.
I can honestly say that having Jules sugar my Brazilian was like getting a hug from Baby Jesus himself. She whipped me into shape in no times at all, sharing advice, laughing, and chatting like we were old friends. I got stuck in traffic due to a rock slide on 40 East and she waiting over an hour past my appointment time to meet with me.
I will never, ever get another hot wax after meeting Jules. Trust me. Sugaring is the way to go and Jules is the expert.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am new to this area so I googled brazilian wax and read of her reviews on City Voter and made an appt. to get a sugar brazilian. Very good. This is by far the best brazilian I have ever had. Never heard of sugaring but I like it. She got every hair out and let me use a mirror to check it. Mind you, It was awkward looking at my girly parts with a mirror. It was hair free. I cracked up on her room. There are sayings painted on the walls all over her room of what her clients text to her or say during their service. This was the most fun brazilian I have ever had. I will def. be back.

For a first time ever waxing, this experience was much better than I had expected.
I had read extensively online, checking on getting a Brazilian wax. When I discovered Juleigh's ad, her customers' comments, and all the info she provides, I decided to try the sugar wax. I am a real chicken and I figured this was going to be the least painful wax. Plus, I had tried shaving with mixed results and even bikini depilatories with not so good results.
Juleigh has a real gift for working with her clients. A true people-person, she puts you immediately at ease and explains and even illustrates the process. She also gives you warning when she is ready to pull and tells you what to expect! Afterwards, she puts a lot of talc on the area and then sprays with tea tree oil.
Juleigh also tells you exactly how to care for the areas waxed and urges you to call if you have questions. (I mean, how many times do you get home and have a bunch of questions?)
Did it hurt? Yes a few pulls did: out of maybe 50 pulls, 5 or 6 really hurt. But the rest were not bad and I understand that the next time, even those will not be bad. Make sure you take the Advil or something similar bout 30- 60 minutes beforehand, just to help minimize any swelling.
Would I do it again? Oh yes! I plan to go back soon to get the hairs that are just below the skin now, but ready to be pulled in a few weeks. And, of course, I plan to maintain this new look!
If you are hesitating, I say Go for it! All you have to lose is hair. And it will grow back if you do not like it. But - be prepared: you will love it!
