It's the biggest grocery store in Altadena. They have the cheapest and best produce.
You get lot of Armenian stuff too. Their bakery section have to be checked out.
Lot's of wine and meat selection.

Okay, friends, my mom and I trekked up to Altadena to see this market my friends had been speaking of.It is in a 'bad' neighborhood but the store is spanking new and the parking lot very secure feeling.

The market is huge, and you can purchase all your groceries there if you are that type.

Mostly, the best thing there is the outstanding produce at excellent prices.For an event I am attending I would have spent thirty to forty dollars on produce for a vegetable platter at Ralphs or Vons.My total was twelve dollars and I could not believe it.It was tip top produce, not like the little Armenian markets with wilted lettuce and bruised lemons.

The asparagus were the tiny kind, the red cabbage for my dip bowl was perfect, and everything you wanted only cost about thirty nine cents a pound and it was better quality than our local Pavillions and Fresh Fare.
I don't know who owns this new chain/store, but they are doing a great job.

You should just see how beautiful my vegetable platter looks right now and what a pittance was spent for it.Thank you Super King.

It was our first visit and my mother only bought two tangeloes and later in the day she wanted to drive all the way across town to buy more.

The meat, breads and other items are not that great but if you are in a pinch you could find what you need.I am a Howes customer for meat, and am I guess fussy.

What I really liked about this store is that it is super clean, even by my standards.The customers are a little, well how do I say this, 'rude.'When I shop in my neighborhood, I don't feel like I am in a third world country.

We saved money and enjoyed our shopping experience in this brand new very large market.
