Brewhouse at Eastlake

I am very disappointed with the service at the Brewhouse at Eastlake.

First of all I went there to see my friends in a band. So we decided to go early to eat and drink. You know, have a nice evening! Well we get there around 8:50 pm and put our name on the list for a table. Since it is packed, we grab a drink from the bar and people watch. We see people coming and going. Occassionally checking to see how many people were ahead of us on the list. Around 9:30 pm there were 2 people ahead of us. We had noticed that people were getting tables and they arrived after us! So we stand there waiting for the hostess to assist us (we noticed that there were 2 names ahead of us) the Security officer comes up and asks us if he can help us, we said that we were wondering why people were being seated before us. He said that it was open seating. Well the hostess never came back, we finally jump on the next open table around 10:00 pm (outside, where we cannot hear or see the band). My friend finds the hostess and she asked why we weren't told that it was open seating. The hostess said because it was too busy. How fair is that? Had we known that it was open seating, we would've been on the prowl for a table inside. So my friend talks to the owner and he didn't seem like he cared. Meanwhile, outside.... We never had a waiter come up to us. I finally find the hostess, who took our order. We never received refills or had anyone come up to us..

Needless to say our entire party was disappointed and I will be sure to tell all of my friends about this establishment. We were very annoyed and I cannot believe that the owner didn't even care.

Well since we didn't have anyone come up to us, that means that we never received our bill. So, thank for the free appetizers and the waters.. But we will never come back and we will be sure that the band will never book here again!!
