This restaurant is worth a drive to Bastrop.
Tender pork ribs with a perfect crust and a smoked in flavor to die for. Sides of potato salad and beans were good. You actually get a choice of 'white or wheat' at Clydes. Everyone in my party took home leftovers as the servings are huge.
The owner built the building. Believe me you will be fascinated with with the materials he used. Everywhere you look you will see something unique. TV's on for football --. always a good thing.
Clyde and the staff are Texas friendly, something you just don't find in Austin these days.Make the drive from Austin and visit Clyde's. You'll be glad you did.
Great BBQ smoked by a Master. The years of experience come through. Don't miss a chance to meet Clyde.
