Went to Ribbins Bar B Q in Auburn for carryout. Ordered a slab of baby back rib, but received beef ribs and didn't find out until I got home. Worst of all, the ribs were not bbq'd on premises. They were just heated in a microwave. They were slathered in bbq sauce and they were cold. The brisket might have been good, but it was also soaked in bbq sauce. I had expected the site to have facilities in back to prepare the food onsite. The server unwrapped the meat from celaphane behind the counter and popped it into the microwave, which I could not see from behind her preparation counter. This is the worst bbq joint I've ever been to anwhere in the country. It would have been drummed out of the midwest, where I live and certainly does not compare to typical Kansas City bbq. If you are starved for bbq, try grazing at Costco or Sams. On their "off" days, they're better than this.

I come from kansas city mo and I grew up on gates and byrants BB'Q I have been to this place 2 times and both times the food was just wrong the meat is boiled not smoked I know this because I smoke meat almost everyday the beans are from the store and so is the potato salad haven't had the greens or the sweet potato pie but I can bet you it's not any good this place needs to hire a real cook if they want to stay in business in auburn I hate to be so blunt but I like to spend my hard earned money on great BB'Q and if you want to taste great BB'Q don't go here!we went to jones it was OK not the best I ever had but not this ether this is by far the worst place to get BB'Q in the whole state of washington not just auburn.

Kansas City style BBQ including the sauce, not too sweet and a little spicy. The sides are small but good. More importantly the meat portions are good sized and the meat is excellent. Ribs, pulled pork and brisket were all great. Good collard greens, the portion should be larger. Good beans, too. Near the Super Mall in Auburn, easy to find. Plenty of parking. Friendly service that isn't too slow. The owner is a great guy who has worked with kids most of his life. So he is a good people person, too. If you are down in Auburn, this place is worth the stop.
