Be clear on what you're getting here: REAL barbecue. Utahns are accustomed to pulled pork in red goop; most Utahns can't imagine not having red BBQ sauce on any meat called barbecue. Since this place makes real pulled pork sandwiches (Carolina-style, where these sandwiches were invented and where they're an art form), they're made with a vinegar based "sauce." That immediately confuses and sometimes turns off people, but if you want something different, tasty, and authentic, this is the right place.
I ate at the one that replaced Brand X in Springville. I was tempted by the delicious smell coming from the meat being BBQed in the pig shaped smoker out front. The smell was the best part of the meal. For me, the sauce had too much vinegar. You got somewhere in the neighborhood of 3-3.5 oz of meat on a sandwich bun, an ear of corn and some cole slaw or beans for $10.00 which I thought was too much. The people who own it are nice.. but it is not my style and the portions are small.
