Month after month, my bill was wrong. You have to admire that kind of consistency. And I was always overcharged, never undercharged. You have to read the bills carefully and ask questions - particularly about all the extra charges like insurance that I never asked for and had removed. After several months, the bill was correct, but they changed the ending date of my special rate. I had confirmed several times exactly the date, now who changed it? I switched to AT&T - can't possibly be any more difficult.
It appears there is little choice in Olathe. I called Comcast to set up services over the phone. I was told I needed to buy a modem and router first and then a service team would come out to set up services. In one call I spoke with India, Canada and St.Paul. Wow! I did as told and was charged $99.00 for each item. They arrived in the mail. Service people said they didn"t know anything about this practice and installed the two items they brought with them instead. Now I took the modem and router to Comcast on ridgeview road and was told they could NOT credit my account nor could they take the items back. It was explained that "these items you purchased are from a third party contractor for Comcast and you will have to retun them yourself". I asked for these items to be exchanged out for the two I am paying monthly rental on and was told it would be additional service charges and "they probably won't work with your package". I am not a fool. But COMCAST is. I know the address and phone number to the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau as well as write reviews. This company makes Time Warner look downright humanitarian.
Your One and Only Choice for Cable TV We live in a rural area and need either cable or satellite TV to get any programs. If you want cable TV in this area, Comcast is your only choice. We had Comcast Digital Cable for about 15 years before we got tired of it
