    Amazingly rich and delicious pastries and cookies--I'm eating an almond horn as I write this. Baguettes are perfectly baked--as in France, with an incredibly chewy/crunchy crust, and wonderfully textured bread. The pastries feature a large quantity of ingredients such as marzipan, chocolate paste--and butter! High ratio of nuts in every bite. The owners must have learned their trade somewhere in Europe--it is so unlike the usual air-puffed, vegetable-oily bland baking of typical American bakeries. Fabulous. An incredible addition to the Upstate.

    OH MY GOSH!! Finally, we have a bakery! Go, go as fast as you can to taste what a REAL piece of Italian Bread tastes like...better yet, what a real napolean is all about!! AND THEY SERVE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH TOO!! The Village Baker is the BEST!!
