I would like to thank the staff at Bob Moore Nissan in Norman, Oklahoma, in general and specifically: Chris Stevenson and Rick Stapleton. The professionalism and desire to achieve the best results for the customer was apparent in my recent experience in purchasing a vehicle through them. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and courteous and resulted in a very positive experience. Management should be commended on hiring individuals of this caliber.
5-13-2009 I took my wife and Kids too see my folks in Norman, OK. for Thanksgiving 2008. On the way there from Missouri, our fuel gauge quit working on my wifes 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. Long story short, Bob Moore Auto Group was close too where my folks live and so we took our Nissan there too have it checked out.
Our Fuel Sending Unit was bad, and after waiting all day Saturday, the repairs were done and the bill was paid. A $417.98 Bill I might add. I was a little shocked, but was appreciative that after we came across several salesman standing around in the lot, who were NO Help, we made our way too the Service Desk, and they got us in and repairs were finally done. They had too drop the fuel tank and replace the fuel sending unit.
I just got off the phone w/Brent Campbell, Service Mgr. for Bob Moore Auto Group. About a month ago, my wife was smelling Gas in her 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. We took it too our local guy, but he told us we needed too take it too a Nissan dealer because they could not see where it was leaking but the top of the fuel tank was wet with gas.
My wife was in Sedalia,MO., not far from where we live, and stopped by Williams-Woody Nissan, Inc., and had there service dept look into it. What there service dept. told my wife was a little shocking. They had too drop the tank in order too find the leak. Once the tank was dropped, the;
"tech found fuel line Not properly connected to fuel sending unit. Fuel line was Not properly installed. Tech reattached fuel line and problem is solved."
But Wait, the best part is this; my wife was charged $55.00 for Williams-Woody Nissan in Sedalia, MO doing the Same Exact thing that Bob Moore Auto Group in Norman, OK. did!!! Well, except they didn't replace the Fuel Sending Unit. But, had we needed the fuel sending unit that cost us $169.80 in Norman, OK, it would have only cost us $65.00 in Sedalia, MO..
I DON'T CARE WHAT BRENT CAMPBELL SAYS, WILLIAMS-WOODY NISSAN FIXED A PROBLEM BOB MOORE AUTO GROUP SCREWED UP!!! YES, I AM SURE HE IS RIGHT, I COULD HAVE DRIVEN BACK TOO NORMAN, OK.,.....5 HRS. AWAY, AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE THEY WOULD HAVE DONE IT FOR FREE. BUT IT KIND OF SPEAKS TOO THE CHARACTER OF WILLIAMS-WOODY NISSAN IN SEDALIA, MO., FOR THEM TO PUT ON THERE PAPERWORK THAT THE REPAIRS DONE IN NORMAN, OK., WERE DONE IMPROPERLLY!!! AND TOO TELL US THAT THEY DID EXACTLY THE SAME THING!!!!!!!
I will post more later, once I talk with JIMMY CROSS, OWNER of Bob Moore Auto Group in about one hour.
Be Aware!!! Bob Moore Auto Group Nissan in Norman, OK. are NOT who you want working on your car. And if you can't trust them too work on your car, then you really can Not TRUST them enough too buy from them as well!!!
Thanks Brent Campbell, thru your willingness to pass the buck and not take responsibility for your service departments mistake, I've been Invigorated and Energized. And by the way, we've found one Hell of a Nissan Dealer in Sedalia, MO., by the name of WILLIAMS-WOODY NISSAN, INC..
Just got off the phone with Jimmy Cross, Gen.Mgr. at Bob Moore Auto Group and he stated they fixed my car and they Owe Me Nothing! I contacted the OK. Better Buisness Bureau and will go from there.
Awful service. They're very rude. I drove up wanting to look at 350z's and this other lady was also there. She stopped to ask me about my car and she really liked it. So I gave her my name and number. When we were leaving he made the lady pull over and he pointed to my car and spoke to her about it. Then I pulled out and he said "Hey, do you want a job??" He said this because the woman had interest in my car. Of course my car is for sale if I'm driving onto a dealers lot! It wasn't as if I was there to sell to her. Come on, there was no need to be rude. I hate car salesmen. Stay away from them and go somewhere else!!
