You can believe the time they say they will be there.
They phone when the taxi is about 5 minutes away from picking you up.
Good driver. Good service. Good quality ride. Clean Cab.
Until recently I used Yellow Cab, which says they'll be there in 20 minutes, but can take anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours, and every time we call back for an ETA it is always same story "we will be there as soon as we can", so we are waiting nervously, wasting time, uncertain WHEN connect, have to plan trip hours in advance, because of them.
Almost every time I have called Yellow Cab, the dispatcher sounds overworked, not pleased to take our call. Like when you are in a restaurant and all the workers have sour faces & we are speculating "What happened? Do they have to work the holiday, longer hours, is the boss a grouch?"
I tried Cardinal ... Wow! as different as night and day.
Their estimated arrival time was awful close, considering Evansville traffic.
They phone me when the taxi is 5-7 minutes out, so I can be doing something constructive while waiting, have time to grab jacket, close up what I was doing.
The second time I called for a ride, they said "Good to hear from you." like they happy to have my business.
I told the driver that I would need same journey next day & he asked about what time. I said that I ideally I would like to arrive at my destination at 2 pm. He said I should call Cardinal at about noon to make a 1.45 pm appointment.
Wow!
They have a distinctive roof shape. You can see it is them coming, after you have used them once already.
They are using a modern vehicle, with GPS map & other gadgets, to facilitate informing the customer when they approx 5 minutes away. The rear is roomy ... this would be a good cab to use if we have groceries.-
