I read the review for this restaurant in the LA magazine so i was really wanting to try it out. I dine in LA quit often and i like to try and support restaurants in the community. Our waiter was not attentive and we had to wait fifteen minutes for our drinks. We had to flag him down everytime we need a refill. We told him it was our first time dinning there and it did not seem to matter. No explanning of the menu was told to us. They have a dinning table called the " community dinng" and that was like sitting at a bar setting. Very Loud and not impressed at all. I have NO plans to return in the near future.
Really cool place. Amzing cocktails. I had the Clover club and my BF had the Smoke on the water and then an OPP. The food is really interesting. We had a bunch of appetizers...cod,tamales, tortillas that are delicious. The pork entree...the pibil is outstanding. The vibe is really upbeat and a super sleek design. There is a room with old Tequila that is available to members only. We were going to a lakers game but will definetly go back.
Fantastic! The modern latin dishes were amazing with Spanish flavor & cocktails to die for. I think it's the best restaurants DT, not to mention best modern latin in LA.
