User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsOK, we haven't eaten here yet but we have been here a few times for their wine selection - love it! I had been watching for their opening for a couple of months and was thrilled when they opened the weekend of Elgin's first wine tasting weekend. Great selection of wines and the owners, Jim and Doris, were delightful. We look forward to our next outing there to sample their food menu.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe just finished our first dinner at Red Bar and were very pleased! It was clear they were short staffed, but acknowledged and apologized for the wait. The chipotle chicken soup and lamp chops were worth the wait. All fresh, quality ingredients. The sample of wine Jim (owner with his wife, Doris) shared with us was delicious, but the Line 39 Cabernet is excellent! We can't wait until the place has gotten it's "legs" and we will be regulars for sure!
