Sandy English pressured me into signing a lease before she allowed me to see inside the apartment. She showed me the display house, which she said looked the EXACT same. It looked brand new and worth what I was going to be paying. One week after signing, I was able to go inside my apartment. It looked nothing like the display (which she said was called for - lie). Mine was a dump. Well, there was new carpet (mostly). She had no intentions of having the walls painted, roaches, cobwebs, a broken toilet, some windows had no blinds, the blinds up were broken, no refrigerator (which we were promised), missing knobs on the stove, one door doesn't lock, the other can hardly be unlocked with a key, gaping holes around almost every outlet, cracks in the cieling, the light in the hallway had no cover, and the light switch plate in the bathroom is cracked in half. All of these things were showed directly to Sandy English, and she simply said, "Fixing this place up was not in the contract." Beware of deception.
