| About: | Opening in September of 2008, and located at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain in the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Restaurant Avondale features a West Coast organic, ingredient driven menu. Chef/Owner Thomas Salamunovich utilizes time honored cooking methods, like slow roasting and braising, to yield classic dishes that are rich in flavor. Avondale's wine program is progressive in both its pricing and offerings, focusing on small production wines and presented in an affordable manner that compliment the straightforward cuisine. Avondale's design is "Mid-Century Modern", incorporating a simple palate of natural materials like stone, wood, granite, and glass. These elements align to create an environment that compliments the stunning physical landscape outside its doors. |

Wow!
My wife and I ate here last night.
Its the one inside the Weston riverfront Hotel.
I really must say the food....just great!
Looks like a real team effort going on.
I like the atmosphere very casual not too serious.
I like being able to have a fine dining meal without the fine dining regulations just great.
The manager came to our table and welcomed us!
While I loved the new york strip, which was cooked to an exact med rare.
I could not get over the charcudery board which had a variety of the Chefs take on European cured meats. Just incredible.
All the different components made for a great experience.
I can't wait to come back next season and see what new items have been added to the menu.
