Fortunate K9 Dog & Owner Training

We are very happy with the results we have gotten from Fortunate K9. Within the first class we, (and our families), could already start to see a change in our dogs. I think our dogs are very happy now that they have rules and they can spend more time with us, now that they are well behaved we can bring them on long weekends and on our daily errands.

We also get lots of compliments on how well behaved they are. It's a great feeling to know others notice how "good" they are now.

I started training with Julia approximately 10 years ago with my male German Shepherd and continue with my current dogs. I would recommend Fortunate K9 to anyone. The real life, common sense training methods work. One of the best parts of training is the “Field Trips” outside of the training center and on the sidewalks and other public areas of town. I have had experience with bad trainers and their gimmicks and quick fixes and appreciate the common sense and honesty Julia and Rick use in their methods. They and their students are supportive in whatever facet of training you want to pursue, Rally, Obedience, Schutzhund, Bird Hunting, it doesn’t matter they will support you and help you reach your goals.

I thank my lucky stars that I was introduced to Julia when adopting my twice returned shelter Doberman with "issues". Not only did Julia straighten out the problems but she gave ME the skills I needed to handle my dog outside the training room. Now I have a dog who can deal with any situation in Real Life and is also a successful competitor in the various competition venues. This is all due to Julia and FK9 training.
