I love this preschool! My son Bracken went to this preschool last year, and loved it! Teacher annie really connected with him and the other children. You can tell she loved what she does! At first I was surprised a little, when I went and checked it out. After looking at their webpage, I thought it would be bigger, but it actually is in the basement of a home. I had never been to a preschool in someone's home. My older two children went to formal montessori preschools in California-where we just moved from. This was the BEST preschool experience I have ever had! My son learned so much more (like READING at 4) than my other 2 ever learned! The teacher does so many hands on activites with the children, and they really do some pretty cool things! During their career unit, they had people in the community come and talk to the kids, and they visited local areas like the hospital and post office! I also loved the art projects and creative things that Bracken did! He really loves teacher Annie! I am so glad she had a spot for us, we almost passed her up, and then we almost didn't get in! I've already put Hadley (my 2 year old) on her waiting list for next year, and can't wait for her to go. If you have a preschooler, or an upcoming one-GO HERE-do whatever you can to get in!
My daughter went to this preschool for 2 years! We love teacher Annie! My daughter learned to read and write and her kindergarten teacher could not believe how advance she was! Teacher Annie is so great with the kids, and she does a lot of hands on activites with them. She does a lot of the traditional Montessori things, like the pink tower, rods and having the kids choose "work"-but she offers more structure and more creativity! We took our daughter out of Dayspring, and have not regretted it!CHOOSE THIS PRESCHOOL!!
