Spiriter Reverse Mortgages

My parents were looking into reverse mortgages to eliminate their mortgage payment and get some cash for investments. They spoke with four companies before asking me to help them decide. After understanding the differences between working with a Lender as opposed to a Broker, we eliminated two brokers.

When we compared the two lenders [Bank of America and Spiriter Reverse Mortgages] the difference was 100% clear. With the large mortgage companies, we were a number with a commission attached. With Spiriter, we were given every consideration as people with a need coming to experts to help us decide.

They worked with us to find the best program [they have multiple investors as opposed to BOA - only BOA] so they had more products to choose from and they were able to get us a better rate than others offered.

If you are in the market for a reverse mortgage, I would highly recommend two things:
1) NEVER use a BROKER
2) Put Spiriter on your short list and call them first
