I don't know. The two reviews below seem very biased considering its from two ex-employees. It's pretty sad that these two get fired and seek revenge from the company by writing a review online. How pathetic. You have a problem, go solve it with the managers not make your business public unless you're looking for attention since you two both lost your jobs. Why take people you barely know personal? Dumb.
Yes, their food is fantastic. I also agree with the fact that its hard working for those people, I was an employee at the Fernandina store, and was fired b/c the Kitchen Manager did not like me, and no other reason than just that. How hard do you think it is to give out great customer service after being treated horribly your entire shift? I drove 45 mins every single day to work my hardest, just to get treated badly for no reason other than petty high school drama. Both her and the Server Manager are a joke! They have no idea how to run a restaurant. Don't you think it'll be a little difficult to serve great food, if you can't keep anyone on your payroll?? Constantly having to re-train people, b/c you have NO IDEA how to be a decent human being to the people that already work there? By the way, a little tip for all of you that eat at this establishment, the kitchen manager is always in view while she hands out food...notice how she has her nasty hair hanging down all over EVERY SINGLE PLATE that is sent out to customers? Yes...don't be suprised if you find hair or anything else for that matter, in your food...
Oh my! Where should I start? Food is great, blah blah blah, But as an employee, thats a much different review. At this particular location, working for this company is a nightmare! Inexperienced management all the way around! Getting a paycheck on time is like pulling teeth! Trying to understand the difference between the "right" and "wrong" way to serve a customer, is some what confusing, due to having serveral "big-cheifs" in the kitchen. What the serving manager wants may be different than what the owner wants. Then after you think you get it right, you're be-littled in front of other co-workers by the head chef! I've seen other servers cry after a chewing out. Standing up for your self is out of the question! One night a ticket was lost or so they say, and the person in charge thought it was necessary, make only the 4 servers working that night, pay the missing bill. I'm sorry but where I'm from thats illegal! When I refused to pay for some one elses mistake, I was immediately threatened with the loss of my job!
Week after week there is always a work schedule problem with atleast 4 employees when the new week is posted. This is mainly due to the 25 year old so called "manager" that makes the schedule up. Favortism is definately showed to the person or persons that befriend this "manager", As a customer, you may not see or hear any of this going on, but be assured that your favorite server is being mistreated on a week to week basis. With the economy the way it is, this job might be the only thing a person has to get by. He or she should not have to go thru this mess and jump thru hoops just to keep a job. Dont you think? Alot of customers have a great time eating at OPS, and think the food is wonderful, But keep in mind that when you think the "atmosphere" is just right, Your friendly server is hiding the wretched fact that he or she hates it here!

We were just about to check out OPS for the first time, but found these reviews. Good management, high quality business practices and compassionate treatment of employees is very important to us, so we will not even give this place a try - unless we hear that they've solved these serious issues. Thanks for alerting us!
