    I'm astonished at the glowing reviews of this company. My experience wasn't a complete travesty, but it definitely wasn't top-notch service either. The movers did not receive my pickup or dropoff address, and called me no fewer than a dozen times on both ends of the trip requiring detailed step-by-step directions. I literally had to read directions from Google Maps over the phone to the driver. Apparently, GPS is not a standard feature in their moving trucks. My moving consultant was extremely helpful on the initial sales call but, once I'd paid my deposit, I could hardly ever reach him even during business hours. He also did not return voicemails. I didn't even get a confirmation call at any point before the move and had to call the night before to ensure that someone was still showing up the next morning.

    The final price of the move was 30% higher ($250) than I was quoted, and they claimed it was because my initial quote was for fewer square footage than my actual load. Fair enough. When the movers showed up, they tried to charge me an additional $150 "carrying fee" which I absolutely refused to pay. Also, keep in mind that you can use a credit card for the initial deposit but can only pay the remainder to the driver in cash or money order at dropoff. I was only notified of this policy the morning of the movers' arrival and had to scramble to get to the bank.

    The movers arrived within a reasonable number of days (4 business days) and didn't break anything, so I can't say everything was bad. But I surely won't be seeking further services from Advanced Moving any time soon.

    Finding the right moving company is hard in itself. Yet Advanced Moving Lines made this process easy. Their rates are more than affordable and customer service was available and always willing to help with any of questions or concerns. Their were prompt with pick up and delivery. I would recommend 100%.

    Very Professional! Highly Recommend. Used them for my move from VT to CA.

    Crew was actually early and were done in 3 hours. They took care of everything and pack all my goods with care. Angel, the crew leader,kept me informed as to where my shipment is at all times. I could call them night and day and I usually get someone or I get a callback within an hour. Price was reasonable.
