Sewer Cleaners $ 49.99 in Queens, NY

My whole basement was flooded on the evening of 09/28/09 and i called $49.99 sewer service at 7 pm. Technician was at my house within 45 minutes. Cleared main sewer line out to city with electrical snake machine. Best part, he only charged me $49.99 for it. He worked in a very professional and clean manner. Technician also cleaned up after he was done with the job. I was so happy that i gave him $20 tip. I recommend them to everyone.

THIS IS A SCAM! Rainwater backed up in the backyard sewer and in the roof gutters in the front and back of the house. The blockage was in the cast iron pipe connected to the storm sewer in the street. The technician, after ten minutes of feverishly running an electric snake through the pipe, was unable to clear the blockage. He then suggested the use of a blow back bag for a $50.00 additional charge. The blow back bag is inserted into the pipe and seals the pipe. A garden hose is connected to the bag. The pressure of the water from the hose pushes the blockage free. The procedure to insert the bag takes no more than two minutes. The bag is available at the local plumbing supply store for no more than $25. The problem was tougher than the service technician could handle. Rather than spend the time to use the snake to unclog the pipe, the technician was done. I was charged a $25 service fee. I called the company and was told that there is a $50 charge for each method used to clear a given blockage. The service fee was non negotiable. The advertisement clearly stated: "One drain sewer service, one price." It's all a scam to get into your house and get as much money as they can out of you. I would think twice about using their service.

Best service for this low price. Very professional and honest people. Had a clogged toilet and their mechanic snaked it and cleared it and the best part i only paid $49.99. I will recommend them to all the friends and family.
