Got'ta Love Cake

The frosted sugar cookies from here are to die for. They melt in you mouth and always decorated so special. My grandchildren have gone from Birthday cakes to wanting the large Chocolate Chip decorated birthday cookie. When we need a cake for a special occasion. you can tell her what you want and it always comes out perfect. At Christmas she has such a nice varity of cookies to choose from and they all taste fantastic. We won't be using any other bakery but Got'ta Love Cake

I have had several cakes from this bakery and each one was delicious. The cakes are light and moist. We have had cakes decorated for birthdays and baby showers, The cakes have been in the shape of animals, cars, and also sheet cakes.. There are always compliments on each cake we have served.

The cookies purchased from this bakery are always moist and delicious. Our favorite are the frosted surgar cookies in various shapes.

I was at a birthday party and had a piece of the BEST cake I've ever tasted... really, it was somehow just subtly better than any other cake I've had. I was told it was from Got'ta Love Cake. So when my son wanted an "octopus cake" for his birthday, I decided to order it from Got'ta Love Cake. I was expecting a square cake with an octopus on top. What I got was a 3D octopus that was HUGE. My 8 year old son LOVED it, and it tasted just as amazing as the one I had before!

Since then I've ordered everything Got'ta Love Cake offers. Birthdays, school parties, office parties, dinners, you name it—dessert is provided by Got'ta Love Cake. I live in West Des Moines, so Altoona seemed far at first. But it is soooo worth the drive. And if they were going to be on my side of town, they delivered it to me.

My top five favorites, in order of greatness:
- Peanut Butter Bliss Cookies (I think that is what they're called)
- White cake with Got'ta Love Cake's signature frosting
- White chocolate/mac. nut cookies
- champaign cake cupcakes
- sugar cookies

And anytime Kris comes up with a new cookie, I'll order some of those. along with my cake or other cookies.

Once you have a Got'ta Love Cake cake or cookie, you will no longer crave a 'bakery cake or cookie.' You will crave a 'Kris' cake or cookie.
