Absolutely Wonderful!! Elissa has to be one of the most talented and passionate photographers around. My husband and I scheduled a morning session at Kailua Beach Park and it was simply beautiful! Right away I felt like I had known Elissa my whole life---friendly, funny and warm is how I would describe her. I am thrilled with the outcome of the photos! I would definitely recommend Elissa/Trueglimpse to anyone wanting great, memorable, and fun pictures while in Hawaii. Thank you so much Elissa!!!

My husband and I recently booked a session to have our daughter photographed for her upcoming Sweet 16 party. Elissa showed great interest in gaining insight into the overall theme of the party, my daughter’s personality and our vision for the final product. Her level of genuine interest gave me the complete confidence that we could completely turn over the creative selections to Elissa and I could move on to the rest of the party planning.
Although we live in Hawaii, our desire was to create shots that displayed an "Urban" feel; no sand, no palm trees, no water:-). My daughter is a replica of the 80's Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. Although she had never met my daughter in person, Elissa's photo shoot locations captured her personality much better than I had even imagined. She started out at a local skateboard park and then proceeded thru China town, snapping photos at some of the oddest places. The final product was un-be-leave-able!!! I couldn't wait to post them for family and friends to see. The hardest part was selecting which photos to not share and save for the party invitations and her Sweet 16 Video.
From start to finish, this was a superb experience! Her attention to detail, professionalism without being “stuffy”, and most importantly PROMPT RETURN OF EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS are just some of the attributes that will keep her in our speed dial. She has a lifelong talking billboard with our family, referring her to anyone and everyone we know:-). P.S. We will be setting up our next appointment to take our traditional Hawaii photos:-). Thank you Elissa!!!!!!

My husband and I were married in Hawaii last month. We booked a Trash the Dress session with Elissa after our original photographer had to cancel. She was very accommodating and kept in touch with us via email and by phone once we arrived. By the day of our photo shoot I was exhausted and not sure if I wanted to go through with it, but my husband convinced me especially since Elissa had so kindly rearranged her schedule to accommodate us. I'm so glad we went! It was the most fun we had during our entire honeymoon. The photos came out wonderfully. Elissa had such a sweet personality and even got into the water with us. We spent a lot of time laughing and Elissa was able to capture our personalities very well through the images. I could not have asked for a better experience. I also appreciate that she allows her clients to have a cd with all of the images without an additional charge. This is very important because I know of many photographers who charge hundreds of dollars for the negatives.

I highly recommend True Glimpse and Elissa for your photography needs. You will not be able to find better quality for the price.
